First rule in Hollywood "dating": Don't assume a dude is single just because he wants to hook up with you. That's reportedly the harsh lesson Miss Lindsay Lohan learned last week when she walked in on her new boy, director Brett Ratner with another woman. "Brett wasn't returning any of her calls, so she decided to stop by and say hi," a source tells the New York Post. "Brett never told Lindsay he had a girlfriend. She had no idea. He is constantly e-mailing, texting and calling her. She just wanted to hang out. He had given her the code to his house and told her to come over anytime, so she went." Needless to say, Linds found her maybe man (rumor has it, La-La Lohan is also getting her groove on with Keira Knightly's model ex these days) with another chick and then the fit hit the shan. "[Brett's GF] jumped out of bed and went ballistic," says another insider. "[She and Lindsay] started screaming at each other and took the fight first into the living room and then out to the driveway while Brett hid in the bedroom. Lindsay said she could get [Brett's GF] deported and left." And what's the moral of this tale? Hooking up with a dude who's 37 when you're only 19 is not only skeevy, it's just plain stupid all the way around.
