Drew Barrymore and Ellen Page are both too-cute comediennes, and they're teaming up for a movie! That's right, Drew has snatched up Ellen to star in upcoming comedy, Whip It!, which will mark Drew's directorial debut. "I've been working toward the goal of directing my entire life," Drew tells Variety. "Whip It! is a story that really spoke to me."

In the movie, which begins filming this summer in Texas, Ellen will play a reluctant beauty-pageant contestant who instead starts a career in roller-derby. "I really admire how Drew constantly challenges herself as an artist," Ellen says. "She's proven herself as an actress and a producer, and I have no doubt she'll bring great vision and creativity to the director's chair. I can't wait to kick a** on wheels!"
