Mischa Barton's taking her damage control to the radio waves. "I got a DUI when I was back in L.A.," she told Ryan Seacrest during his morning radio show. "I was pulled over -- just that. Obviously, I am 100 percent responsible for my actions in this case, and I am really disappointed in myself. I don't know what to say about except I am not perfect, and I don't ever intend to do something this stupid again."

And while she can't say much because the case is still pending, she gave some details about what happened that night: "I was out with some friends and I actually hadn't been driving in the night but I wanted to get my car home," she said. "I didn't have a license -- I grew up in New York, the land of people who don't have to drive, which has always been the toughest thing about living in L.A. for me and I usually try not to get behind the wheel."

Uh, we live in New York and know not to drive without a license…or while under the influence…or while possessing narcotics. But hey, as long as she was just trying to get her car home…
