Time to be Blunt?

Look, we know we can be obsessive about songs, but even "Hollaback Girl" gets bypassed on our iPod these days (only after we addictively rocked out to it for over a month straight at the gym). Well, singer James Blunt is probably wondering what he did wrong to get the cold shoulder from fans back home. According to Yahoo! News, the soulful singer has been banned from the radio station in his native country after listeners complained of Blunt burnout! "We don't have anything against James Blunt, and we're pleased he's been so successful, but we really need a break," explains a rep for Essex FM, a U.K. radio station. "While his songs have been popular, there is a tremendous amount of industry pressure to play certain artists frequently. We're happy to stand up to this pressure and follow the strong message listeners have given us." Translation: "You're Beautiful" has gotten kinda ugly for our friends across the pond. We guess that Rihanna's gonna be the next singer to send out her own SOS if her latest single keeps playing on constant rotation...
