Paris Hilton is losing much of what she's famous for. No, not that -- her grandfather, Barron Hilton, announced yesterday that he plans to donate 97 percent of his $2.3 billion fortune to charity, the Associated Press reports! (Could it be because ol' Barron is embarrassed by and furious over Paris' crazy antics, as suggested by writer Jerry Oppenheimer in his 2006 book House of Hilton?) The money will go to a charitable trust that will eventually benefit the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, which helps provide clean water in Africa, education for blind children, and housing for the mentally ill.
