OK, so you know a few days ago when we said that Pete Wentz issued a cease and desist order to heavy metal band, Neurosonic over a song that mocked his GF, Ashlee Simpson? Well, we thought the story seemed a bit shady, but hey, in Page Six we trust! Anyway, our suspicions were confirmed last night when we were hanging with a music gossip blogger from Idolator, who told us that Neurosonic's publicist lied to the Page Six peeps -- there was (and is) no cease and desist order! They were just trying to get their names out there by using Pete's popularity.
