Have you heard "Sorry, Blame It On Me," Akon's new apology song? (You know, the one that asks for forgiveness for dirty dancing with a 14-year-old pastor's daughter, which caused Verizon to stop sponsoring his and Gwen Stefani's tour? We've got a bit of dirt about it!
Well, insiders tell TMZ that Akon didn't even write the song -- DJ/producer Clinton Sparks did, and was only given credit as co-writer/producer. Whoa! Yeah, sounds like he's real sorry…
(P.S. -- the song doesn't even touch upon Akon's own problems until the last verse!)
