Nick was in a car accident last night in Clearwater, Florida around 7:30 p.m. Police tell TMZ that that the Hogan Knows Best star was speeding in his Toyota Supra when the car lost control and slammed into a raised median. The car flipped around and the back end hit a palm tree, which "destroyed the entire car." Nick and the car's passenger were taken by helicopter to a St. Petersburg hospital with "very very serious" injuries. Nick Hogan was in serious condition, but was released from the hospital this morning. The passenger, however, sustained worse injuries and was listed in critical condition.

Less information is known about why Owen was hospitalized, but TMZ confirms that the actor was taken to an L.A. hospital on Sunday afternoon after a 911 call was made to the L.A. Fire Department at 11:59 a.m. "On Sunday Aug. 26. 2007 at 12:10 p.m., officers from the Santa Monica Police Department responded to a medical assistance call from the Santa Monica Fire Department at the 900 block of 23rd Street," Santa Monica police tell TMZ.
