OK, we're gonna skip the Spider-Man jokes here, but Kirsten Dunst did need a hero two weeks ago when two burglars broke into her penthouse suite in a NYC hotel and stole a number of purses (including bags by Marc Jacobs and Balenciaga), wallets containing her ID and credit cards, $2,500 cash, two digital cameras, and an iPod, according to the New York Port. Kirsten, who was in town to film How To Lose Friends and Alienate People, had just left the hotel when the robbers broke in, police say.

One suspect was picked up at the Brooklyn Supreme Court on Tuesday where he was being charged with other crimes; he was caught on hotel surveillance videos. (What a day for that guy, huh?!)
