Justin Rocked Our Bodies

OMG -- total craziness at last night's Justin Timberlake show at New York City's Madison Square Garden! The show absolutely rocked! Obviously, he sang all his hits from Justified and FutureSex/LoveSounds and danced up a storm, and he even played piano and guitar on some songs. But the best part of the evening was watching Justin joke around with the audience -- this boy is a born performer. Plus, seeing his coy smile on the set's jumbo screen was totally priceless! Before he closed the show with the encore, JT spoke really honestly with the audience about how much he appreciates them and how lucky he feels to be where he is today -- so freakin' cute!

Here's the set list for the over two-hour show:
"FutureSex/LoveSound"
"Like I Love You"
"Let Me Talk to You (Prelude)"/"My Love"
"Senorita"
"Sexy Ladies"
"Until the End of Time"
"What Goes Around...Comes Around"
"Chop Me Up"
Timbaland Intermission
"Rock Your Body"
Medley: "Gone"/"Take It from Here"/"Last Night"
"Damn Girl"
"Summer Love"
"Losing My Way"
"Cry Me a River"
"LoveStoned"/"I Think She Knows"
"SexyBack"
Encore: "(Another Song) All Over Again"

OK, so the non-Justin news from last night:
Before JT came on, Good Charlotte opened up the show. We think Joel Madden should pay a little more attention to Justin's performance technique -- Joel just doesn't have it going on. (To his credit, he did say he can't dance.) Sweetest moment of their set had to be when Joel professed that he and brother Benji were each in love with their girlies. (Awww!) The best song of their set was "Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous," which was the only song that the band really got into and actually performed.

Timbaland took over midway through JT's set for an intermission set, mixing up everything from The Fray's "Cable Car (Over My Head)," Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous," Michael Jackson's Billie Jean," Kelly Clarkson's “Since U Been Gone," Missy Elliott’s “Work It,” Colplay's "Clocks," Aaliyah's “Are U That Somebody," and his single featuring Keri Hilson, "The Way I Are." Very solid, if you ask us.

Lucky for you, if you didn't get to see Justin's FutureSex/LoveShow, HBO is airing last night's show on Sept. 3, 2007.

You Say!
