OK, we're about as sick of talking about Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, and anything related to The Hills as we've been with Paris Hilton for the past, oh, four years. But we're gossip girls, and we've serve what the celebs dish out!

So it turns out that Heidi's pink diamond-engagement ring from Spencer is a big ol' fake! Here's the deal, according to TMZ: Spencer had borrowed ex-BFF, Brody Jenner's credit card to buy the bauble, which he did at the Ice Accessory store at a mall in Brentwood, Calif. The so-called big spender had bragged that Heidi would need "a GPS device" for the ring in case she lost it and likened the ring to J.Lo's. But sources say that the "pink diamond" actually a lavender lemon amethyst! (The diamonds surrounding the center stone are indeed real though.) The actual price of the ring? $2,890!

Now, we're not saying that the price tag matters -- we're saying that lying about your engagement ring is totally lame. We'd rather a ring made out of pipe cleaners than a fake!
