Not-So Desperate Wedding

Not-So Desperate Wedding What's more fitting for a Desperate Housewife than two Parisian weddings? Eva Longoria and Tony Parker tied the knot in Paris this weekend: first in a civil ceremony on Friday, then in a 250-person church ceremony on Saturday (07/07/07, which is supposed to be a lucky day -- perfect for superstitious Tony).

The wedding took place at the Church of Saint Germain l'Auxerrois across from the Louvre Museum. Eva wore a couture scoop-back Angel Sanchez mermaid gown made of silk wool with silk metallic embroidery and a 5-foot long train. At the ceremony, Eva and Tony exchanged 18K white gold ring Piaget Possession wedding rings, each with a special French inscription engraved on the inside. While Tony's ring is simple, Eva's is anything but: it features 107 diamonds -- two rows of 80 brilliant-cut diamonds separated by a row of 27 square-cut diamonds. (Better not lose that one!)

The reception took place following the service at the Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte, a 17th century castle outside Paris, which cost approximately $280,000 to rent. Obviously, the couple was transported there in style, riding in a black Rolls Royce Phantom. "The crowds of hundreds of fans outside went wild and shouted, ‘congratulations’ to them in chorus as they drove out," a source tells Us. Even the sky sent well wishes as fireworks went off during the night.

"It was so great -- such a fun wedding," wedding guest Mario Lopez tells People. "It's been one event after another. I'm tired!" Who else was on hand to celebrate the happy couple? Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Nicolette Sheridan, Ryan Seacrest, Sheryl Crow, Jessica Alba, and William H. Macy. ( Marcia Cross couldn't make it because she just gave birth to twins.)

Congrats! Wish we were there!!!
