It's true! Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are expecting! "She is extremely excited right now," an insider tells Us Weekly. (Nic found out in early May, when she took a pregnancy test.) "Nicole didn't want to tell anyone until she was past three months," a friend tells In Touch. "She really kept the news from everyone."

The happy couple is getting hitched, too! While on tour in Canada, "[Joel] kept talking about his fiancée," Guttermouth guitarist Donald Horne tells In Touch. "He was talking about looking to settle down someplace nice and start a family." Joel recently was spotted looking for engagement rings, a source tells Us, while Nic is searching for the perfect wedding dress. According to 24 Sizzler, Nic is considering "Giorgio Armani, YSL, maybe Zac Posen, and some L.A. designers she likes. Nicole's not fixated on getting some huge designer name, though, like how Katie [Holmes] got Armani. And she's already checking out L.A. bridal shops. She's reached out to high-end L.A. bridal boutique Renee Strauss for help in getting a wedding dress fast, so she's fueling the wedding fire, but she loves it."

It's a lovefest all around actually. Both fams are thrilled for the baby and wedding. “Everyone’s happy, everyone’s good, everyone’s getting along” a source tells Us.

Unfortunately, that's not the case for all Hollywood couples. Johnny Knoxville is calling it quits with his wife of 12 years, citing "irreconcilable differences," TMZ reports. He's asking for joint custody of their 11-year-old daughter, Madison.
