Here's the rest of the day's gossip, now in bite-size morsels!
-- In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Paris Hilton says she's tired of being mocked by the press. "I just realize that the media used me to make fun of and be mean about it," she says. "[I am] frankly sick of it and I want to use my fame in a good way." Um, even if you do, sweetie, we're sure we'll still make fun of you!
-- Beyoncé is always getting knocked for being a beeyatchy boss, but this time, we're giving the bootylicious singer two thumbs up! When her papa, Matthew Knowles fired "Shortie," B's longtime 400-pound bodyguard in favor of someone younger and buffer, they paid him the rest of his $500,000-plus contract and a $100,000 bonus, sources tell Atlanta Gossip. Now, that's a sweet deal.
-- Yesterday came word from Page Six that Britney Spears got upset at a photo shoot for her new perfume, ran away, and refused to come back. "She is not listening to anyone and doing exactly what she wants," the source says. "But sometimes she doesn't know best." But her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnick does: yesterday, she told Life & Style, "I put her on hiatus. Brit's album is pushed until '08. ... Let's go on hiatus until we have a campaign to do." At least someone in the Spears camp has some brains!
-- Isaiah Washington is still fuming over his being fired from Grey's Anatomy. "They fired the wrong guy," he tells the Houston Chronicle. Isaiah maintains that he never targeted a slur at T.R. Knight (even though T.R. told said on the Ellen Degeneres Show that, "everyone [on the set] heard it."). "That's a lie," Isaiah says. "I used the word during a disagreement with Patrick [Dempsey]. I apologized for that. We shook hands and went back to work." He goes on to say that T.R. used the situation to get a salary bump and a more prominent role for his character. Dude, Isaiah -- just move on already!
