Best Friends For Never?
OK, if you ever wanted more proof that Hollywood peeps are all a bunch of backstabbers, just take a look at all the knives that have been thrown in the past couple of months. From Paris to Lindsay, to Denise and Heather, we're not even shocked to hear that Jessica Simpson and Vanessa Minnillo used to be buddies before Jess decided to file for divorce from her hubby, Nick Lachey (Vanessa's current flava' of the month). According to Star, "[Jessica] used to be buddies with Minnillo," the mag reports. "The MTV host pursued Simpson's friendship after the two met in 2003. Minnillo regularly invited her to 'girls' nights out' and dinners." To make matters worse, a source tattles that Vanessa was all up in Jess' business when she decided to end things with Nick. "When Jess and Nick were falling apart, Jess confided to Vanessa," a source spills. "Minnillo urged her to leave Lachey." Wow with friends like that, who needs enemies?
