A No-Show

Poor Kelly Clarkson! The American Idol, who was considered the most successful of the bunch, is definitely slipping in the rankings. Kelly's had to postpone her summer arena tour. Why? Her peeps need to reconfigure the "size and scope" of the tour because of lower-than-expected ticket sales, Billboard reports. (If you have tickets, you can refund them when you got 'em, and you'll get first priority for seats once new dates are announced, likely in the fall.)

"The fact is that touring is just too much too soon," Kelly says on her website. "But I promise you that we're going to get back out there as soon as is humanly possible to give you a show that will be even better."

This is just the latest blow in a series that Kelly has endured lately. Not only was she fighting with RCA label execs over her new album, My December (which is composed solely of self-written material), but she also dumped her longtime manager, Entertainment Weekly reports. According to a Kelly-insider, he "exacerbated a thermonuclear situation" with regards to her album issues and "did everything he could to control Kelly and her career suffered. He should have steered her in the right direction."

Hmm, maybe Kelly should just "walk away" while she's ahead of the game...
