"He was trying to hail a cab, but he couldn't get one fast enough for Kate," an eyewitness reports. "She then started walking away to hail a cab herself. She was pissed."

Kate ended up ditching her beau for the rest of the evening and hightailed it to the other side of town, where she met up with model Helena Christensen to hit up Pete Wentz's bar, Angels & Kings. And whuddaya know -- Helena had a limo at her disposal. Maybe Kate should date her instead!
