Uh oh -- Kelly Clarkson's label is ready to "Walk Away" from her new album, the follow-up to Breakaway. Sony BMG boss Clive Davis is said to hate the new tracks that the American Idol has produced so far and, according to the UK's Daily Star, was "absolutely merciless in his criticism. She's one of the biggest priorities on the label and her new songs were savaged." (The public agrees -- her new single, "Never Again," debuted at #8 on the charts.)
The difference? Kelly wrote and produced the entire album herself with her touring band. Don't worry though -- she's back in the studio, figuring out how to salvage her mess of an album.
(Total side note: didn't Britney Spears already do the drowning in the bathtub thing in her "Everytime" video? Check out classic Brit below.)
