While there was talk of filming another season, Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham couldn't reach an agreement with the powers that be. "Announcing the final season of 'Gilmore Girls' is truly a sad moment," the peeps at the CW and Warner Bros. Television explain in a statement. "We…promise to give this series the send off it deserves." The final eppie airs on the CW on May 15 at 8 pm ET/PT.

It'll be hard to manage without Rory and Lorelai, but we'll deal as long as they don't pull a 7th Heaven and magically come back in September.
