Last year, Jesse McCartney opened his big mouth and told reporters that J.Lo was preggers -- even though she wasn't. Now, he's getting a taste of his own medicine. Lauren Conrad, who's BFF with Jesse's GF, Katie Cassidy, is saying that the couple is engaged, TMZ reports. LC posed a message on her MySpace that says Jesse accompanied the girls -- Katie, Whitney, Audrina and Lauren -- for dinner recently, and "Then he got down and asked her. It was so sweet! Everyone was clapping afterwards." (Jesse's rep says the story's untrue.)
