Mother's Day is still a few weeks away, but Usher better get started looking for the best present for his Mom, Jonetta Patton. Word on the street is that this mama's boy is cutting the umbilical cord and firing his momager 'cause his fiancée, Tameka Foster said so. "Tameka has a hold over him," a friend tells the New York Daily News. "Nobody can figure it out. Some people think he may make Tameka his manager."

Back in the day, Jonetta urged her son to fire Tameka as his stylist, but that didn't separate the pair -- in fact, Tameka even left her hubby for the R&B superstar! And while Usher's two ladies play nice in public, that warmth freezes over once the cameras stop rolling. "They definitely don't get along," an insider "Tameka came to Jonetta's birthday on April 6. They hugged and posed for photos, but it was all for the cameras."

Well, if Jonetta does get canned, she may have another child to mother -- Britney Spears. Exec at Usher's label, Jive, "think Jonetta's done an incredible job with his career," and want her to do the same for Brit.
