Dakota Fanning better watch out! Little Miss Sunshine's Abigail Breslin is edging out the competition in the child star department. Her most recent victory? Winning the part of Kit Kittredge in HBO Films' adaptation of the American Girl doll and book series, Page Six reports. The flick will start shooting this summer and is scheduled for release by the end of the year.

"It is going to be a huge movie," an insider says. "The dolls are selling out all over America." Add in Abigail's Oscar nod, and you're got a new reigning champ for America's Fave Child Star.
