Could Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake be hooking up again? Yes, but not in the way that you think.

J.T. was approached by uberproducer, Timbaland about collaborating with Britney on her comeback. "I feel her pain, it really bothers me," Timbaland tells Entertainment Weekly "I'm the type of person who tries to save the world. I just want to take her away, go overseas, and work [it] out. I just want to hold her hand. I want her to be in my camp, to be around Justin. I need Justin to talk to her. Help her, please!"

But while J.T. is cool with working with his former flame, he had one stipulation, according to Timbaland: "She's just gotta be serious."

There's no word on when or whether this collaboration will take place, but we hope that having people rooting for her will help Brit through this rough spot.
