Nicole Richie's legal trouble must be contagious. Not only did she spread it to Paris Hilton, but her BF, Joel Madden caught that nasty virus, too. A female photographer filed a "crime report" claiming that Joel attacked her on Saturday, according to TMZ.

The woman claims that Joel confronted her as she attempted to take his picture and hit her on the left breast "with the heel of his hand," according to police sources. (The photog told TMZ that she even has a welt to prove it and saw a doctor for treatment.) Later that same night, TMZ videotaped Joel striking another paparazzo with an open-handed shove to the chest while exiting popular celeb eatery Mr. Chow while trying to clear a path for Nic.

With a GF like that, who needs enemies?
