Nicole Richie was rushed to the hospital this weekend while filming the latest season of the The Simple Life, Us Weekly reports. Nic was kept shooting until 2 a.m. on Saturday and had to be back on set a few hours later, leaving no time to eat in between. (A girl's gotta get her beauty rest!) But when Nicole complained that she was feeling faint and dizzy, she was rushed to the hospital, where she was given some fluids and food before being released. "Nicole is home resting and will return to work this evening," Nic's rep said in a statement on Saturday. "We are proud of the weight that Nicole is gaining and her focus on her health." Echoes Us Weekly's source, "Nicole has gained weight and is doing really well. She is proud of that," adding that "The producers overreacted -- she didn't need to go to the hospital." But their green Jell-O is just so delish!
