At the Golden Globes, Brad Pitt joked that he and GF Angelina Jolie wanted to have enough kids to make a soccer team. That number is 11, and Brangelina is one kid closer to their dreams of World Cup eligibility. That's right -- they're adopting another child!
A top Vietnamese adoption official told the Associated Press that Angelina filed adoption papers at Vietnam's International Adoption Agency this week. Last Thanksgiving, Angie and Brad made a surprise visit to Vietnam and visited an orphanage on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City.
Last June, Angie said in an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper that she and Brad would adopt another child next. "We don't know [from] which country," she said. "It's gonna be the balance of what would be best for Mad and for Z right now. It's, you know, another boy, another girl, which country, which race would fit in best with the kids." So we're guessing this little one will be a boy.
Interestingly enough, while Angie and Brad are both legal guardians to 5-year-old adopted son Maddox, 2-year-old adopted daughter Zahara, and nine-month-old daughter, Shiloh, Angelina applied to adopt as a single parent. But don't jump to conclusions -- filing as a single parent will make the adoption process easier because Angie and Brad aren't married.
Who's the lucky kid? Will he be as freakin' adorable as the other Brangelina kids? Would Angie and Brad consider adopting a 24-year-old teen website editor? Stay tuned...
