In all the Britney hoo-ha, we totally forgot to update you on Nicole Richie's court case. The Simple Life star has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence (or rather, her attorney entered the plea because Nic didn't bother to show up), TMZ reports. The pretrial hearing will take place April 2.

Who the heck would believe that she wasn't "under the influence"? She was driving in the wrong direction on the freeway! Besides, Nicole even told the cops herself that she had smoked pot and took prescription painkillers before getting behind the wheel. There's no question what the verdict would be in the court of Alloy. Case dismissed!
