Taylor Hicks seems like a sweetie Southerner, right? Ehhh, an American Idol insiders says. "The minute Taylor made the top 24, he became difficult and he seemed to get worse over time," a source told Star. For example, Taylor wouldn't let a bodyguard escort him to the bathroom as producers required, and told another to "[bleep] off." (Why he would tell a bodyguard off when the guy could break him in two, we don't know.)

Taylor also allegedly refused to go to photo shoots and wouldn't speak to the other contestants in the show's green room. "He was conceited and cold," the source said. "Once he was in the top eight, I think he no longer wanted to be on the show," the source says.
