Reality TV star/model, Anna Nicole Smith died this afternoon, according to her attorney. She was found unconscious after she collapsed in her hotel room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. A fire department spokesman told MSNBC that Anna Nicole was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene and relieved CPR and emergency intubation to facilitate her breathing. She was then rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m., and was pronounced dead around 3:45 p.m., according to TMZ. She was 39 years old.
Anna Nicole had been involved in a lot of controversy in recent months: She's involved in a paternity suit regarding her 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn; a dispute over the house she stayed at in the Bahamas around the time she gave birth; and was recently included in a class-action lawsuit against TrimSpa (which she's a spokesperson for) claiming that advertisements for TrimSpa X32 are false or misleading. In addition, Anna Nicole's son, Daniel died a few days after Dannielynn was born after ingesting a lethal dose of methadone and antidepressants.
