She's Replaceable

Let's hope that Dreamgirls wins Best Picture at the Academy Awards 'cause it looks like that's the only way that Oscar will recognize Beyoncé's work in the film. (Best Actress? We love us some Beyoncé, but riiiight.) Here's the deal, according to the L.A. Times' Gold Derby: Beyoncé is listed as one of the four writers for Best Song nominee, "Listen," but the Oscars' songwriting branch only allows three songwriters to be credited for each song in the category, and they've decided to disqualify Beyoncé. B has stated in interviews that she was involved in the songwriting process for "Listen," but that wasn't enough for the Oscar committee. (The Golden Globes don't have the same rule, however, so B still has a chance there.)
