Well, you can't say Paris Hilton isn't a trendsetter among her friends. First, she got Britney to take up flashing the paparazzi, and now, she's set an example for Nicole Richie -- driving under the influence. Nicole was arrested at 4:50 am on Monday morning for DUI, and was released less than three hours later, according to TMZ.

Here's how it went down: Two drivers saw Nic's SUV going the wrong way on the 134 Freeway in Burbank, Calif. and promptly called 911. When the cops arrived, Nicole was alone in the car (which was parked in the carpool lane) and chatting on her cell. (Way to make a good first impression!) She admitted that she had taken painkillers and smoked pot that night, but a Breathalyzer test showed that she was not under the influence of alcohol.

Perhaps the most interesting part of the whole arrest is that her booking sheet reveals her current weight -- 85 lbs.! That's so not healthy.

There's been no word on the incident from Nic or her reps, but you know we'll be on that as soon as we hear.
