Is Michelle Trachtenberg The New Nicole Richie?
Michelle Trachtenberg earned the right to drink when she turned 21 on Oct. 11, but her real birthday present is her relationship with Nicole Richie's ex-fiancé, DJ AM. Both AM and the EuroTrip star are spinnin' over their new relationship, according to Life & Style. "Adam really likes Michelle. She's down-to-earth and totally different from Nicole. Michelle isn't into the tabloid thing. She likes to go out, but she doesn't seem to need the spotlight like Nicole," the insider says. "Michelle really likes AM, and he thinks she's something special." The couple has only been dating a month, but they've been spending all of their free time together. And although AM had to miss Michelle's b-day party, he made it up to her with a $2,000 Balenciaga bag and dinner for two. Will this relationship start a catfight between Michelle and Nicole? Not likely, according to a source close to Nicole. While Nicole doesn't know how serious the pair has gotten, the insider says, "she loves AM and only wishes the best for him." Well, even if she does, we're sure she and on-again/off-again/back-on-again BFF, Paris Hilton will have no problem taking the Ice Princess star down, Tonya Harding-style. (Kidding!)
