Danger, Duff!
Hilary Duff has been laying low with her BF, Joel Madden for a while, and now we might know why. The lovebirds are allegedly being stalked by not one, but two stalkers. (Sounds like a job for Agent Cody Banks!) According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a 19-year-old Russian immigrant named Max came to the U.S. "for the sole purpose of meeting and becoming romantically involved" with Hilary. Max has allegedly "admitted to being 'obsessed' with her, has stated his intention of 'removing' his 'enemies' (i.e., those who prevent him from being with her), has stated his intention of purchasing a weapon, and has threatened to kill himself and to engage in dramatic actions to get her attention." The lawsuit also states that, over the past six week, Max and his 50-year-old roommate (who happens to be a celebrity photographer) have made "an accelerated effort to make contact with Hilary, including visits to her neighborhood, to her mother's home, to her boyfriend's neighborhood ... to Mr. Madden's concert venue, and direct calls to Hilary's manager." Hilary and Joel are requesting that the wack jobs be ordered to stay least 100 yards away from them and their siblings, Haylie and Benji. Back off, dudes -- we don't think stalkers qualify as The Perfect Man.
