Give 'Em Some Credit
This isn't gossip per se, but it's something that made us throw up a little bit when we read about it, so we figured we had to share. (We're generous like that.) While we were checking out Avril Lavigne's apology to her fans for repulsively hocking loogies on her fans and the paparazzi, we noticed a credit card with the spitter's face on it. Weird, we thought to ourselves, as we clicked the link to find out more. Turns out that not only does Avril have her own debit MasterCard, but so do Backstreet Boys, Simple Plan, Clay Aiken, XZIBIT, Good Charlotte, and other musicians. Whaaaaat? While we think having a pre-paid debit card is a good idea to learn about spending limits, what does Nick Carter have to do with it? (We're sure these stars themselves don't have the best spending habits to being with.) This is officially the worst example of selling out that we've ever seen. What's next -- exercise equipment by Kate Bosworth?
