Okay, so we all know that geek is chic -- just look at The O.C.'s Adam Brody and N.E.R.D. frontman Pharrell. Well, guess what? Nerds are here to stay -- a remake of Revenge Of The Nerds is in the works! (Which Pharrell should be happy about cuz he sampled from the original film for his album, Fly or Die). Yup, nerd-lovers everywhere should enjoy seeing the "in-crowd" get slammed on-screen -- especially since rumor has it Laguna Beach Alpha-Chick Kristin Cavallari will play a Pi Delta Pi sorority girl. Coincidentally, her partner-in-crime will be Katie Cassidy, who beat out Kristin for the hyped-up role of Dallas diva Lucy Ewing. As for the nerds, Christopher Marquette (The Girl Next Door) is their leader, and his nose-picking posse includes Efren Ramirez (Napoleon Dynamite) and Dan Byrd (The Hills Have Eyes).
