Me-Me-Mischa
We're gonna start the week off on a good note. We've all heard about how Mischa Barton acted like a complete beeyatch on the set of The O.C. by frequently calling in "sick" and coming in late. But now that Mischa's off the show, she's keeping herself (and her ego) in check. In a recent interview, the former Marissa Cooper apologized for her diva-like behavior on the show. "I was becoming too high maintenance," she says, according to Starpulse.com. "Actors start talking about themselves as if they are the most important people on Earth -- I was no different. We have to have a big belief in ourselves. For most of us all it's all about, 'Me, me, me.' It's a mad business." Mischa also blames her egomania on rising to fame at such a young age. "The moment you have success, people give you things, they make a fuss and try to make your life easy. And the younger you are, the worse it can become," she says. "At times I've thought to myself, 'I deserve this.' But I don't deserve anything at all. I'm 20, for goodness sake." Man, if only some other celebs (ahem, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton) came to the same realizations, the world would be a much better place.
