The Oohlas on The Oohlas in Five Words or Less:

Dude, we freakin' rock!

So besides from being the only one who contributes to the blog, what's it like being the only girl in The Oohlas?
They're just dudes. I’m not a "girl" -- I have boobs, but I’m really not. They don’t treat me like a girl -- they treat me like an equal. Sexes are blurred. Maybe that’s not how others perceive it, but in our band, it doesn't mean squat.

What exactly is an Oohla anyway? How did you choose it for the band?
Every good band name is taken essentially. Basically, these kids on a bus chose the name for us. It’s a term of endearment for a hot girl, or an attractive person.

So are you the Oohla of The Oohlas?
Ha -- no.

What's your ultimate dream for the band?
To be able to tour the world, to put out a second album, to put out a third album, to even barely just barely put a fourth album. To move on and be a "real" band -- not just be a local band.

What happens if you don't make it?
I’m gonna do Dancing With The Stars ten years from now -- Dancing With The Stars 20. I’m gonna be dancing with Nick Lachey’s kid.

That's no good. We need to get you famous! So how would you describe your sound to non-locals?
Happy, loud, rocking, smiley, loud, fun, fast, sparkly, catchy.
