Dude, we freakin' rock!
How do you make your clothes reflect your personality?
I modify things. I’m into finding old relics and making it new again. I do make my own shoes -- I’ll take shoes, destroy them, and put glitter on them.
Speaking of shopping, you guys did a show at a mall in L.A. What was that like? Did you feel like Tiffany?
Well, we did introduce ourselves as Tiffany. It was more surreal than anything. When I first moved here, that [mall] was one of the first places I went, and I was like "Whoa -- this mall is so ridiculous!" And I could finally hear myself singing for once -- the sound was actually good.
You guys are getting a lot of promotion from celeb blogger, Trent from Pink Is The New Blog. What’s your relationship like with him?
He's just a fan. I’ve been a fan of Trent's for a while. He knows [our label head] Sarah [Lewittin]. He came to our show and we became friends. He’s just an awesome dude and a righteous guy. Even though he talks about people on his blog, he’s a really great person. I love him! It’s almost like all the teasing he does on the blog, it doesn’t even feel hurtful once you meet him ‘cause he’s jut so genuine and down to earth.
On your website, you have blog, too. Is that something you want to keep going?
I totally want to. I want the boys to contribute, too, but for some reason I never see them putting up any funny stories. Until then, it’s just gonna be me. I think that’s really important to be able to talk to people that go to the website, so we know who they are.
