Huge News
Hey everybody! It's me again!
I am writing to you guys from the airport in Toronto, Canada.

This week has been very busy. I started off in LA with a visit to the Children's Hospital in Orange County. Every year, KIIS FM invites artists to perform and meet some of the kids. It was a special day! I have never done anything like that before and it sure was hard, but I was honored to be a part of it. I really want to thank KIIS FM for giving me the opportunity. I think it's really great that they do this event every year.

When I first got there, we went upstairs to some of the kids' rooms because some of them were too sick to come downstairs for the performances. It was really touching to meet them and their families. I can't imagine what it must be like to go through so much at such a young age. It's not fair that these children don't have a childhood filled with eating candy and climbing trees.

Meeting these kids really made me think about life and how important it is as an artist to grab every moment you can, and make a change, even if it is just making someone smile.

I met this little boy named Noah, who was in his bed not able to do anything. All I could do was hold his hand and look him in his eyes. I could see that he was fighting for his life. I talked to his parents a little bit and they were so strong for him. I have so much respect for these kids and their parents. I hope that when I come back next year, a lot of these kids won't be in the hospital anymore and will be healthy at home with their families.

After meeting the kids, I performed downstairs with my band and had an interview with Jesse and JoJo from KIIS.

That night, I flew from LA to Toronto for some interviews at radio stations in the area. After the promos, I heard the label say that there was a U2 concert that night! I was very curious and asked if they still had tickets, because I always wanted to see them live. Lucky me, they still had a few and I was able to go! The show was so cool! First, Snow Patrol, another one of my favorite bands, went on. They played my favorite song, "Chasing Cars" and their other big hits. Then it was time for U2, who had the most incredible stage I have ever seen! It was bigger than life!

The arena was covered with huge screens filming the show. When the band started playing and Bono came out, I was so excited! They are so good live! Bono has one of the best male voices I have ever heard. I loved how inspired he is by what is going on in the world and he definitely brings that to the show. At one point, he started singing ad-libs that almost sounded like Arabic. I am always inspired watching other musicians live in concert. It definitely gave me some ideas for my upcoming shows!

Speaking of my shows, I just confirmed a tour with Honor Society, which is so exciting! This is my first US tour and they are such nice guys. I went to their album kick off party in LA. I'm really looking very forward to being on the road with them. These are the cities I will be visiting:
