Hey guys!
It's been a pretty insane week in the Hey Monday world. The week started out at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Ct. It was an awesome show, and a great night. Better for some than others. Diaz, Fall Out Boy's guitar tech hit the slot machines after the show and won $1600! We found an awesome little Asian restaurant in the casino that was open until 5 a.m. Alex, Duncan and I had an awesome late dinner there.

The next show was in Philly. A bunch of Jersey's friends came out, as well as some of my family. We had an awesome time! The next day was Bamboozle. Bamboozle was one of the most incredible experiences for Hey Monday to date. We had a BUNCH of press to do, which kept us super busy. We were battling the rain all morning during load in and the walks from one interview to the next. Finally at around 1, the weather cleared up, and it ended up being a gorgeous day.

We played on the Zumiez stage at 3:40. We were kind of nervous; we had no idea what to anticipate. No inclination as to what the crowd would be like, how many kids would come out, or how they would react to our set. We walked on stage and were blown away. There was about 4,000 kids that came to see our band. Each kid was jumping and yelling and singing. It was pretty surreal. I think we all left a little piece of our hearts on that stage for every kid that came to see us that day. Thanks to everyone that made that day happen.

The next day Cass, Alex, JJ and I went to Bamboozle. The weather was awful, but we got to meet some really cool kids, see some awesome bands, and hang out with some old friends. The next day was a day off, which we spent in New York City. We played an acoustic show at the Echo office, which was pretty sweet. After that we went shopping, then hung out at Angels and Kings for a while. Now we are in Canada, where the fans are great, but not being able to use our phones is kind of a bummer! Well, it's about time for me to go to sound check!
