Hey there Alloy readers,
Jersey here checking in! Let's get started, shall we? To put it bluntly, our Seattle show was amazing. However, being stranded in a parking garage for about 12 hours more than we should have been? Not so sweet. There's a silver lining, though: out of boredom and with the help of our lighting guy Brock, I FINALLY located a skate shop and picked myself up a darn board! If you weren't aware, the rest of the band bought scooters on the first day of tour, and I'd been feeling very out of place :( I'm all set now!
With that being said, we got to Denver a bit early after our Vancouver show and once again decided to venture out. Cass, Alex, and I scoot/skated down to Panera Bread for a wholesome P-Bread lunch (our favorite) and afterwards dove into our first ever Buffalo Exchange experience. For those of you who don't know, Buffalo Exchange is, through our eyes, the Urban Outfitters of thrift shops. I grabbed up some sweet Creative Recreation sneaks for $38!!! Alex racked up a nice new shirt collection of three sweaters and a new tee, and Cass made out like a bandit on some rad new stage clothes -- you know, things she can wear with leggings and stuff... You'll have to ask her for the specifics, it's a girl thing! ;-) (In case you can't tell, we like to shop.)
Other than shopping, there's something else we usually do on tour. OH YEAH! PLAY SHOWS! All the shows have been great! The crowds have been getting better and better every night! We've been so completely satisfied walking on and off of the stage every single night. And the after-show activities have been super fun -- we usually watch all the bands play, and then head over to our bus to play some XBox 360. We also certainly like to take part in the notorious pop-punk dance parties All Time Low hosts in the front lounge of their bus. Oh yeah, we also like to tape Elliot to couches while he's sleeping!
Until next week,
Seeeeeee ya!
