Sunny Sunday

Hey everybody,
Hope you had a great week as it is my last week checking in with you for a while. I've only worked on the show for a couple of days this past week, so it gave me a little time to catch up on some sleep, do a little shopping, which we all love to do!, and visit some family friends, which I don't get to do very often as we are always on the move it seems like! On my shopping spree, I found a couple of really cool dresses and a great pair of boots. Although I have never really been into boots, I really like these. They are tan leather with a cool heel!

On Sunday, my parents and a couple of our dear friends, Kevin and Mark, went to Chinatown in LA. We had a great time looking around and exploring all the great deals you can get there if you are bold enough to bargain with the shopkeepers! My dad and our friend Kevin are into bargaining, but my mom and I just get quiet and pretend we're not there! After all the exploring, we had a great lunch at this really good Chinese restaurant.

Yesterday, Mom, Dad, and I finally got our bikes out and went on our long awaited bike ride out at a place called Balboa Park. It has this great five-mile bike path that we usually do a couple of times. It was really a beautiful day -- not too hot and not too cold. We then went over to Whole Foods and had some sandwiches and chips. Dad was a little tired from lugging the bikes on and off the bike rack, but he's OK. Then we went home, took care of all the animals and put a couple of movies on. We watched W and then this foreign film. Dad went to bed but my mom and I stayed up awhile, ran over my dialog for next week's episode of Secret Life and then we fell asleep.

Well, it is now Sunday night, and I'm getting ready to curl up with my crazy little pug Ollie and watch a movie starring Sean Penn called Milk, which he won the Academy Award for. Then, it's back to work. And I can't wait to get back to the studio and everybody at SLOAT!

I want to thank you all for checking in with me the past six weeks and hope you continue to enjoy the show. There is a lot of really interesting things coming up in the new season, so stay tuned! Again, thanks for letting me visit with you all, and I wish you all love and good wishes! Take care and we'll see you all in TV land!

Peace, love & happiness!
