Workout Tips

I'd say I had an upbringing full of workout tips. Being that my mom was involved in teaching aerobics, step aerobics, kick boxing and Pilates, I feel like I learned from the best ;)

#1 -- Drink loads of water to keep yourself hydrated.
#2 -- Make sure you are getting nutrients from eating the right foods (you have to fuel the engine). The worst thing you can do is not eat -- it’s all about balance and proportion. #3 -- Make sure to stretch before and after your workout (before to warm up your muscles and after to elongate the muscles you just worked, and to keep yourself from pulling a muscle).
#4 -- Weight training can make your heart rate go up and down very fast which makes you burn lots of calories. Cardio is always good for the heart and losing weight but don't be fooled by weight training, it can burn just as much or more.
#5 -- If you are doing cardio, I suggest the bike or elliptical machine. They're the easiest on your knees and joints.

Have a great workout!! Haha. Make sure to breathe :)

Love you,
