Just finished making our way through Florida. In Orlando, our bus was parked right up on a lake. Bassist Eric and I tried to obtain a two person inflatable raft, with the hopes of paddling out to a near-off island, but were unsuccessful in our attempts to acquire any sort of boat. However, we were able to score some fishing poles...
Miami was out of control. Definitely one of the liveliest crowds we've encountered on this tour. After our set was through, I kicked it with our merch guy/friend Steve Principio at our merch tent. Those of you familiar with early GCH material might remember Steve's shout-out in the song "Oh My God." Anyways, we played a bunch of Scrabble, and I pretty much laid the beat down on him. Good times...
Yesterday, we hit up Charlotte, NC. Our good buddy Craig Beasely has been out on the road tattooing us. We converted the back lounge of our bus into a tattoo studio of sorts, so I spent a few hours getting tortured.
Today we're in Virginia Beach. When it came time to play the show, our singer Travis was nowhere to be found. Luckily our guitarist, Disashi, held down vocal duties for the first half of the song, giving Travis enough time to get to the stage.
In other news, I watched Dillinger Escape Plan this afternoon. They rocked my face off...I now have no face.
