Hey guys!

Hope you all had a greattt vacation! Currently, I am in upstate New York because all my family is here. It's really awesome because I NEVER get to see them! My cousin Niall just moved back to New York from Arizona, so it's great to hang out with him, considering we were attached at the hip when we were little.

The first day of vacation, you would think it'd be nice to sleep in, relax...oh no. I still had to get up at the crack of dawn for hockey practice! After practice, we all went out to breakfast as a team and concluded with a vicious snowball fight, haha! My friend Shannon and I found refuge in my car.

Later in the day, I found out my friend got a $36,000 scholarship to college! She said her mom was so happy that she cried. I wonder if I am going to get any scholarships -- the only thing I can do now is wait. While I'm in New York, I am going to visit Canisius College, which is in Buffalo. I applied to it, so I might as well actually see what it looks like!

Christmas eve, my mom's side of the family met at my Yeayea's house (aka Grandma) for a family party. On Christmas, we had a party with my dad's side of the family. The best part of vacation: NO HOMEWORK! I don't even want to think about going back! My sister got me a Boston College shirt for Christmas, sooo I guess she is counting on me getting in! Ah!

BTW, one of the girl’s came up with a great way to find out where everyone in my grade is getting into college – she made a Facebook group where everyone posts where they got accepted. Some girls are going to schools close by, and others may go all the way out to California! On the last day of school, Seniors all wear a shirt from the college they are going to, so I might just wear a McDonalds shirt or something to be funny, hehe. Okay well I have to go have a family breakfast. I'll talk to everyone later!
