Did You Watch The Inauguration?

Millions of eyes were glued to the TV as Barack Obama gave his inauguration speech on January 20, 2009. Thousands trekked it out to DC to hear him live. Were you watching?

"Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real," President Obama said during his Inauguration speech. "They are serious, and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America: They will be met."

Besides his hopeful and inspirational speech, there was much discussion about what first lady, Michelle Obama would be wearing. She chose designer Isabel Toledo's yellow dressed paring with a matching coat. She accessorized with green J. Crew gloves and matching shoes.

The all-day affair ended with the first couple hopping around town for the 10 Inauguration balls. The first lady looked stunning in an ivory, one shouldered floor length gown designed by Jason Wu and the president donned a matching bow tie.
