Does Your BF Need Your Parents' Stamp of Approval?
It was a total shock when Heidi and Spencer, a.k.a. Speidi eloped to Mexico! You can bet Heidi's "Stalker Mom," a term affectionately coined by Spencer, was less than thrilled.
"He's manipulative and seems to have power over Heidi," Heidi's mom Darlene tells Us Weekly. "Spencer has tried to cut everyone out of her life. I'm more devastated about that than the marriage, because I'm confident the marriage won't work out. I think Spencer wants to possess Heidi more than marry her. God says love your enemies, but I never expected it to be my son-in-law."
Heidi told Us mag that she opted to elope with her long time BF because her mom "was starting so much drama." Harsh! Not having mom there on your wedding day is a serious decision.
