Should Disney Dump Miley?
Miley Cyrus has been getting a lot of unwanted attention from the media in the past few weeks. From the scandalous photos that have been circulating the gossip blogs to her Vanity Fair photo shoot, it's safe to say that her PG image is something of the past.
At the time of the Vanity Fair shoot, Miley did not think the shoot was in any way inappropriate. She said it wasn't done in a "skanky" way and thought it was "cool". But she's since changed her mind about her now famous backless photo. She released this statement through her publicist: "I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about."
So far Disney is standing behind Miley. The network has said, "Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines."
