Is Dina Lohan's New Show Exploiting Her Kids?
A new reality show, Living Lohan, starring Lindsay Lohan's momager Dina and her sister Ali is set to debut on E! Entertainment Television. The series will be a non-scripted reality show following the Lohans in their Long Island home. It will be centrally focused on Dina's momager role for Ali and her brother Cody in their acting/music careers. Dina has been highly criticized for her parenting of Lindsay. In the past few years, she has often been accused of being too media friendly and exposing her children to the celebrity magazines and shows. Last year, she had a feature in Bazaar where she spilled about the perks of having a rich and famous daughter and happily talked about how she's living "The American dream."
So far there's been mixed reactions about the show, most of the feedback being negative. In their defense, Dina Lohan had this to say to Page Six, "We have no choice. Tabloids and reality shows are not going away. If they know who Ali is as a person, it's better." Ali chimed in and said to Access Hollywood, " I think it will defuse a lot of rumors and all the silly stuff that is said about me already when I'm just coming out.&qout;
