Are Heidi and Lauren Taking Their Feud Too Far?

Can you say BFF or Beeyatch?! Ex-BFFs Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad have been going all over Hollywood, blabbing about each other. If you don't know about the Hills stars' nasty feud, then you must've been living under a rock for the past few months 'cause it's been everywhere from the tabloids, to radio airwaves, to Heidi's BF, Spencer Pratt's MySpace profile.

While we're sure their fight will certainly boost ratings for season 3 of The Hills, which premieres next week, we're pretty certain that Heidi and LC aren't going about things the right way. Is all the trash talking and name calling really necessary? Hasn't this tiff gone way overboard? We've had our share of friend breakups, but it's never been this brutal. Call us crazy, but some things between gal pals (even ex-gal pals) should be kept private out of respect. After all, they were BFFs at one point! Geez, where is the love, girls?!
